Finance Director Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Director to join our team at Calderdale Metropolitan Borough Council. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial future of the organization.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of delivering financial results, managing budgets, and leading teams. They will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships with stakeholders and colleagues.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing financial strategies to support the organization's goals and objectives
  • Managing and overseeing the financial planning and reporting process
  • Leading and managing a team of financial professionals
  • Providing financial guidance and support to senior leaders and other stakeholders
