Role Overview

As a Commercial Finance Business Partner at ZIGUP, you will play a key role in driving financial performance and strategic decision-making across our FMG and FMG RS businesses. This exciting opportunity combines financial expertise with business acumen, requiring a qualified accountant with solid business partnering experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the forecasting process for FMG volumes, revenue, and overhead costs, providing valuable insight and commentary on financial and non-financial performance indicators.
  • Oversee the production of monthly reporting packs, working closely with the commercial team to conduct periodic reviews of customer profitability and provide guidance on maximizing revenue and controlling costs.
  • Develop and maintain pricing models, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data inputs, and perform financial evaluations to understand the impacts of pricing actions on customer profitability.
  • Provide proactive pricing support to the FMG and FMG RS New Business teams and analytical assistance for contract renewals and additional product promotions.

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) with solid business partnering experience and the ability to offer value-adding insight.
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of the key drivers of our business and how they interact.
  • Experience of establishing professional and positive relationships with a range of stakeholders of varying seniority, with an ability to influence stakeholders towards positive outcomes.
