HMP Bronzefield, one of the largest women's prisons in Europe, offers a unique opportunity for a skilled professional to advance the Learning & Skills Department.The Curriculum Lead role is pivotal in driving educational provision and ensuring challenging Service Delivery Targets are met annually. This position focuses on providing prisoners with educational opportunities that help them develop skills for successful reintegration into society and reduce the risk of re-offending.Main Responsibilities
  1. Develop and review curriculum materials, assessments, and teaching strategies within the department.
  2. Oversee the day-to-day management, control, and operation of course provision, ensuring effective deployment of staff and resources.
  3. Actively monitor learner attendance and progress by analysing performance data, taking follow-up actions as needed.
  4. Stay informed about national developments in subject areas, teaching practices, and methodologies, providing training to staff during CPD sessions.
  5. Teach up to 50% of the working week, delivering English and maths to Level 2, including embedded English and maths.
