Revenue Collector Specialist

Job Overview:
The Hatched Recruitment Group is seeking a highly skilled Revenue Collector Specialist to join our team. As an essential member of our enforcement team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective collection of revenue in accordance with legislation and service objectives.
In this dynamic and challenging role, you will be responsible for making enquiries to trace the whereabouts of absconders and providing professional competence in all aspects of internal and external customer enquiries. You will also ensure that all customers receive a courteous, approachable, helpful and professional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all Controlled Goods Agreements are kept in a secure place and available on request to justify fees applied.
- Support the enforcement Agents by assisting with the allocation of their workload cases.
- Enter reports via appropriate devices/databases in accordance with the Council's processes and procedures.
- Comply with procedures to maintain an accurate database, fulfill audit requirements and meet/exceed internal and external accreditations.
- Provide information, support and advice to stakeholders and other services in order to meet the Council's overall standards in service delivery and customer care.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have the ability to differentiate between those avoiding payment and those who may need a more sympathetic approach, with knowledge of welfare rights. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
Salary and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including pension scheme, annual leave and training opportunities.
