About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Weekend Chef to join our team at Priory Hayes Grove Hospital. As a Weekend Chef, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of food quality and service in our hospital kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to meet the dietary needs of our patients and staff.
  • Assist in menu planning and recipe development to ensure a diverse and nutritious food offering.
  • Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
  • Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the kitchen is clean and organized, maintaining a high level of hygiene and cleanliness.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in culinary arts, with at least 2 years of experience as a chef.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent culinary skills and a passion for cooking, with a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and other departments, with a professional and respectful attitude.
