Position: Registered Nurse - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Location: Maple Grove, MN

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (primarily nights)

Weekend Requirements: Every third weekend

The Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is responsible for delivering exceptional care to patients and their families across various age groups. Key responsibilities encompass assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. The nurse collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, delegates tasks effectively, and engages in decision-making processes to enhance nursing practices and ensure outstanding patient care.

Essential Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience
• Experience in newborn stabilization and resuscitation
• BLS (AHA or ARC) certification
• NRP certification
• Experience with the newborn population
• STABLE certification is highly preferred
• Level 2/3 NICU experience is highly preferred
• Familiarity with Epic is preferred
