Main Responsibilities:

As a Mechanical Craft member of the National Nuclear Laboratory Careers team, you will be responsible for carrying out safe, quality, and efficient maintenance and breakdown activities. This includes ensuring all activities are undertaken in a safe and compliant manner, meeting all requirements of the Nuclear Site Licence and regulatory purposes.

Key Tasks:

• Perform routine EIM&T, breakdown, and recovery maintenance on maintainable assets as instructed by the Team Leader.
• Undertake any mechanical associated project work as demand necessitates.
• Carry out safe, effective, and controlled isolations of Mechanical Plant within your designated area, flagging any issues immediately to the Mechanical Team Leader.
• Complete MOVEX job cards in accordance with site standards to ensure good quality records.
