Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are currently recruiting an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our Nuclear Power Plant Project at ARM. The successful candidate will be based out of Warrington on a Hybrid working basis.
Job OverviewAs a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the delivery of mechanical engineering documentation for areas and systems. This will include the production and/or modification of engineering design deliverables that meet the specifications required and conform to project and client standards.
Key Responsibilities- Produce collated packages of engineering deliverables that are required to carry out construction/installation works, including CAD work for drawings to be updated.
- Provide engineering support to the manufacturer of procurement packages and site construction/commissioning functions.
- Ensure compliance with legislation such as Machineries regulations, CE marking, H&S files, EHSR, Design Change closure and O&M manuals.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Degree qualified or demonstrable equivalent underpinning knowledge & understanding.
- Working knowledge of design methods and techniques in the Mechanical discipline.
- Familiarity with relevant engineering design codes and standards.
- Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD for drawings and MS Office applications for documents.
- Supply chain (Vendor) support.
- Nuclear experience preferred working on similar projects, or other highly regulated industry.
