Mechanical Electrical Plumbing (MEP) Manager
Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to oversee the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aspects of high-end residential and heritage construction/restoration projects in the Hampshire area.
Key Responsibilities:- Review Design Information
- Review tender packages with project QS to ensure scope gaps and correct interpretations of drawings and specifications.
- Arrange and chair regular sub-contractor progress meetings and design review meetings, preparing notes with timebound action points.
- Work closely with project and site management teams to develop short-term look-ahead programmes and identify risk areas.
- Assist QS team with assessing progress on site and developing monthly valuations.
- Liaise with Quality Manager to meet project quality plan requirements.
- Check installation against current construction issue drawings.
- Mandatory Qualifications
- Experience in MEP project management, including pre-construction phase, with a focus on heritage/restoration sector.
- Strong communication and people skills.
- Good time management and ability to work to strict deadlines.
- A strong eye for detail and ability to read and accurately interpret construction drawings.
