**Overview of the MEP Manager Role**

We are seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to join our team at Macstaff. As a leading contractor in high-end residential and heritage construction/restoration projects, we require a skilled professional to oversee Mechanical Electrical Plumbing aspects of projects through design and construction phases.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working within the heritage/restoration sector and possess a strong eye for detail, with excellent communication and time management skills.

  • Salary: £55K-£65K per annum, plus Car Allowance + Package

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing issued design information, ensuring that the MEP sub-contractors receive timely and accurate information to progress installations according to the agreed programme.

Additionally, they will review tender packages with the project QS, ensuring no scope gaps and correct interpretation of drawings and specifications.

The MEP Manager will arrange and chair regular sub-contractor progress meetings, prepare and circulate notes with action points, and work closely with the project and site management teams to maintain programme adherence.

Liaising with the Quality Manager is also essential to meet project quality plan requirements.

  • Familiarity with construction planning (programming) processes and interpreting programmes
