Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced AWS Platform Engineer to join our team at Manchester Digital. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure on AWS, including VPCs, subnets, security groups, and IAM roles
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and CloudFormation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize infrastructure needs
  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and features

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on AWS
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and DynamoDB
  • Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, and CloudFormation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
