About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Cultural Inclusion Agent. This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on our organization and contribute to creating a more inclusive and equitable work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide independent support and guidance to investigating teams and disciplinary, grievance or interview panels
  • Identify and challenge any issues of less favorably treatment, discrimination and unconscious or conscious bias
  • Ensure that all decisions are made with consideration for the 9 protected characteristics under the Equality Act 2010
What We Offer
  • 4 half days virtual trainings with one of the days dedicated to role play in July and September 2023
  • Bi-monthly meetings with local leads
  • Bi-monthly action learning sets with Cultural Inclusion Agents
  • Full evaluation
Requirements
  • Effective communication skills and ability to influence and challenge in a diplomatic manner
  • Strong analytical skills to review data and develop options
  • A basic understanding of Equality and Human Rights legislation
  • Assertive, self-confident and self-motivated
Who Can Apply

Anyone with a good understanding of equality, inclusion and cultural issues from an NHS or EEAST perspective can apply for this role.

Please note that permission must be sought from the employee's line manager before volunteering for the training course.
