Role Responsibilities:

We seek a Principal Systems Engineer with a strong background in Electromagnetics and Low Observability, concentrating on Electro-Optical and multi-mode Sensor systems for Precision Guidance. Leonardo is at the forefront of EO/LO technology, engaging in significant equipment projects and innovative research.

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Advancing technology development, modeling, and simulation
  • Evaluating and communicating signature predictions
  • Participating in electromagnetic modeling and experimental measurements
  • Delivering findings through comprehensive reports and presentations
  • Offering technical direction and advocating for best practices

Required Expertise:

We are looking for candidates with proficiency in:

  • Signature mitigation for Electro-Optical sensors
  • Radar Cross Section (RCS) evaluation
  • Planning RCS Trials

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess a STEM degree and relevant experience in:

  • Radar cross section reduction and RF antenna design
  • Electro-optics and RADAR technologies
  • Low Observability modeling and predictions
  • Systems Engineering principles

Skills in Electromagnetic disciplines, including Low Observables, Stealth Technology, and Electromagnetic Capability, are highly regarded.
