Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated HGV Technician to join our team of skilled technicians at DPD UK. As a key member of our Vehicle Maintenance Unit, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining our fleet of approximately 1500 Mercedes Benz tractor units and 2700 trailers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and maintaining DPD's fleet of HGV vehicles
  • Fault diagnostics on vehicles
  • MOT preparation for vehicles
  • Weekly and monthly checks of HGV vehicles
  • Mechanical and electrical repairs on vehicles

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a similar Heavy Goods or Heavy Plant role
  • Knowledge of working on Mercedes, DAF, Dennis, Volvo, and Renault vehicles
  • Level 3 trained in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served technician
