Job Title: Assistant Building Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant Building Manager to join our team at ISS Facility Services. As an Assistant Building Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe, compliant, and competent delivery of Soft Facilities Services as part of the client contract.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Line manage and supervise the cleaning and facility staff, known as Placemakers, within a designated geographic area.
  • Support the contract management team in the delivery and ongoing development of our service solution systems, identifying service improvement opportunities.
  • Roster cleaning and facility staff to ensure that all sites are manned to contractual requirements and covering any sickness or planned absences.
  • Ensure effective recruitment, training, and development of frontline Placemakers.
  • Ensure all services are delivered in a commercially responsible way.
  • Ensure all customer queries/complaints are correctly recorded through the customer complaints procedure.
  • Maximise additional revenue opportunities such as extra cover and ad hoc work, as well as margin improvement opportunities through price reviews and additional services.
Requirements:
  • Supervision experience working in a facility or cleaning services environment.
  • Proven supervision and organisational skills with the ability to work under your own initiative, whilst following guidance from line management.
  • Demonstrates the ability to understand the impact of their service outcomes towards the success of the contract delivery.
