About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Disability Assessor to join our team at Aspect Healthcare. As a Disability Assessor, you will play a vital role in assessing the cases of individuals applying for a Work Capability Assessment (WCA) as part of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of individuals with diverse health conditions to gain a clear understanding of how their challenges impact their daily life.
  • Interpret medical evidence and gather findings into comprehensive reports to support decision-making by the DWP.
  • Work autonomously in an office-style environment and at home to complete assessments over the telephone, video, or face-to-face.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurses, Physios, Paramedics, and Occupational Therapists with at least 1 year's broad post-registration experience and UK experience are eligible to apply.
  • NMC/HCPC registration is required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously and possess I.T competency.
