Key Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and social interaction to clients, ensuring they feel valued and connected.
- Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation, light housework, and personal care, to promote independence and well-being.
- Accompany clients to appointments, shopping, and other activities, enhancing their quality of life.
- Support clients with personal care needs, including bathing, showering, dressing, and grooming, to maintain their health and dignity.
Requirements
- Previous experience in care or a related field is an asset, but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting, with a focus on client safety and well-being.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, to meet client needs.
