Regional Sales Director of Commercial Excellence

Job Description
As a Regional Sales Director at Tindle Newspapers Limited, you will be responsible for leading our commercial activities in the Wales and Borders region. This exciting role will involve managing our print and digital brands in markets across Wales and Gloucestershire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead commercial teams to achieve regional sales targets through both traditional and new platforms.
- Implement new initiatives to increase revenue across both existing and new platforms.
- Help the sales team adopt and implement the Gemstone booking and CRM system.
- Maintain and develop business relationships with top 10 key regional customers.
- Drive activity at a local level to develop and grow existing customer relationships and achieve new ones.
- Participate in the senior management team to help deliver the Group's commercial goals.
- Develop individual and team sales skills, core competencies, and knowledge through coaching and dual calling.
- Lead the commercial team on annual and ad-hoc seminar sales and Business Club programme.
- Manage the performance of the commercial teams in line with the Group's expectations and guidelines.
- Act as a regional advocate for Group initiatives and principles.
- Share best practice and examples with other peer managers.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of commercial leadership and sales success.
- Ability to lead and manage a high-performing team.
- Strong understanding of the media and advertising industry.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to think strategically and drive business growth.
