About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Education Lead to join our team at Kinda-Mindi Guildford. As a key member of our educational leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of high-quality educational programs that promote the learning and development of children aged 0-6 years.

As an Early Childhood Education Lead, you will work closely with our educational leadership team to develop and implement curriculum plans that align with the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework. You will also be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of educators to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge to provide high-quality educational programs.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and has a strong commitment to providing high-quality educational programs that promote the learning and development of children. You will have a minimum of a university degree in education or a related field, and have experience in leading educational programs and teams.

About You

You will have a minimum of:

  • University degree in Education/Teaching; or
  • Diploma leaders who are working towards an approved ECEC degree with 3+ years experience leading environments may be considered (ECT scholarship available).

You will also have:

  • A sound understanding of the National Quality Framework, including National Law & Regulations, National Quality Standard and the Early Years Learning Framework.
  • A passion for developing, planning and implementing an innovative educational program with a commitment to inclusive early childhood practice and social justice.
  • A deep understanding of child safety and the National Child Safe Principles.
  • A commitment to empowering, respecting and protecting children and young people through the provision of child safe environments.
  • Computer literacy - experience using web-based documentation systems preferred.
  • Current approved Working with Children Check clearance number.
  • Experience with online documentation programs.
