About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary school in South Warrington. The successful candidate will have experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and will be able to provide personalized support to a Y4 pupil on a 1:1 basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 support to the pupil, tailoring your approach to their unique needs.
  • Facilitate engaging and interactive learning experiences for the pupil.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to create a holistic and effective support system.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with students with SEN or working 1:1.
  • A genuine passion for providing learning support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude.
  • Hold a Teaching Assistant Level 2 or equivalent qualification or 2 years classroom experience.
  • GCSE Maths and English grade 4 or above or functional skills level 2.
