Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading and delivering the Healthy Child Programme (HCP) 0-19, improving outcomes for children and families.
  • Contributing to the development of the Public Health Agenda, meeting national targets and reducing health inequalities.
  • Providing effective clinical leadership to the Public Health nursing team, enabling them to deliver to current Health Visiting and School Nursing standards.
  • Mentoring pre-registration students and SCPHN students, ensuring that evidence-based practice is used.
  • Developing and maintaining effective communication networks with service users, healthcare professionals, and other statutory and voluntary organizations.

The estimated salary for this role is £38,890 - £44,541 per annum, depending on experience.
