Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Game Store Author to join our team at Brook Street UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up in-game content created by the Production, Art and Editorial teams.

This is a challenging role that requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience with the Unreal 4 engine and a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver regular updates to the player community, ensuring they receive high-quality content on a timely basis.
  • Create and manage game assets and catalogues using Unreal, working with various content types such as 3D artwork, animation, copy, 2D art, cosmetic items, and storefronts.
  • Assess upcoming planned content and identify potential challenges, proposing solutions to improve the gaming experience.
  • Critique and push the quality of game content to players, from individual elements to overall descriptions.
  • Collaborate with other teams working on new features and improvements to the community.
Benefits

This PAYE, hybrid role offers a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a 5% end-of-contract bonus (subject to qualifying). You will also benefit from paid annual leave, sick leave, bank holidays, pension, and notice period.
