We are Intec Select, a market leader in the financial services sector, operating in the ETRM space with a focus on Openlink Endur.

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to oversee our Commodities - Trade Management team, which includes Openlink Endur software engineers, trade support engineers, and generalist software engineers.

\

The successful candidate will possess a blend of people management skills, technical acumen in Openlink Endur, software development experience, and understanding of systems architecture and distributed systems.

\

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Leading and mentoring a team of engineers with diverse skill sets.\
  • Providing guidance and overseeing projects related to Openlink Endur.\
  • Ensuring seamless integration with other trading systems.\
  • Participating in hands-on software development and support activities.\
  • Driving project ownership and ensuring timely project delivery.\
  • Collaborating with various teams globally to ensure optimal system performance and user satisfaction.\
  • Contributing to system and architecture design discussions.\
  • Overseeing the integration and support of systems connected to Openlink Endur.\

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • \
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience leading a team of engineers.\
  • Strong technical skills in Openlink Endur and software development.\
  • Familiarity with system and architecture design principles.\
  • Experience integrating additional systems to Openlink Endur.\
  • Ability to own projects, define requirements, and lead development and support initiatives.\

Compensation

\

This opportunity offers a highly competitive remuneration package, including:

  • A base salary ranging from £200,000 to £250,000.\
  • An annual bonus that brings the total compensation to over £300k.\
  • Hybrid working arrangements available in London or Houston.\
