About the Role

Lookers Volkswagen Carlisle is seeking a skilled Master Technician to join their team. As a key member of the workshop, you will be responsible for carrying out vehicle health checks, diagnosing complex faults, and conducting vehicle services and repairs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance to high standards.
  • Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately, using computer-based technology.
  • Repairing or replacing broken or defective parts and resolving defects.
  • Taking customers' vehicles out on road tests to ensure all faults are rectified.
  • Completing warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and relevant paperwork.

Requirements

  • Focused, self-motivated, and a team player with a good mechanical/electrical aptitude.
  • Full UK driving license and completion of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience working with the brand is advantageous.
