We are seeking a skilled Master Technician to join our team at Lookers Volkswagen Carlisle. As a key member of our workshop, you will be responsible for carrying out vehicle health checks, diagnosing complex faults, and conducting vehicle services and repairs.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, with a focus on delivering high-quality work and excellent customer service. You will be working alongside our experienced technicians, with ongoing support from our accomplished aftersales manager, Frank Rankin.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance to high standards.
- Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately, using computer-based technology.
- Repairing or replacing broken or defective parts and resolving defects.
- Taking customers' vehicles out on a road test to ensure all faults are rectified.
- Completing all relevant paperwork to a high standard.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a full UK driving licence and completion of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification. Previous experience working with the brand would be advantageous in this role.
