We are seeking a Government Pensions Auditor to join our team and help us ensure the accuracy and reliability of pension schemes for our clients. As a key member of our audit department, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Salary

We offer a competitive salary of £26,000 - £31,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

As a Government Pensions Auditor, your responsibilities will include:
  • Detailed review and documentation of client information (pension scheme data, investment returns, actuarial valuations)
  • Assess the accuracy and reliability of client information and participate in client year end stocktake attendance
  • Daily communication with various members of client finance teams to understand their systems and information
  • Assist in preparing financial statements in our audit software
  • Play a key part in meeting client deadlines, which can sometimes be quite tight
  • Working in small teams undertaking financial testing contributing your part to the audit of the company’s financial statements


Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • An accounting or finance degree (or equivalent)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
