We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mental Health Nurse Band 6 to join our All Age Autism Intensive Support Team in Coventry and Warwickshire. The successful candidate will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team to provide specialist support to individuals with Autism and mental health needs.
Main Responsibilities:- Clinical assessments and risk assessments to identify individuals at risk of admission to hospital
- Delivery of Autism informed interventions to reduce the risk of mental health crisis
- Trauma informed practice to support individuals with Autism and mental health needs
- Creation of Autism profiles as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Providing individualised training to families and care providers
- Mental health check-ins to support individuals with Autism and mental health needs
