HGV Technician Role Overview

Kemp Recruitment is seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join their team. As a key member of the fleet maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, repairs, and modification work on the fleet of HGV vehicles and trailers. You will also provide technical support from fault analysis through to complete vehicle overhauls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out maintenance, repairs, and modification work on HGV vehicles and trailers.
  • Provide technical support from fault analysis through to complete vehicle overhauls.
  • Undertake pre-MOT checks and undertake any repairs that are required.

Requirements:
  • An in-depth knowledge of commercial vehicles and trailers.
  • Hold an HGV licence Class 1 (desirable but not essential).
  • Be a fully qualified HGV Technician with City & Guilds / NVQ level 3.
  • Be able to undertake all aspects of commercial vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Previous experience working as an HGV Technician.
