About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing specialist psychological assessments and treatments to adults with severe and enduring mental health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify clients' mental health needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based psychological interventions, including individual and group therapy, to support clients' recovery and well-being.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective risk management.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills of other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to service evaluation and development, ensuring that our services are responsive to the needs of our clients.
Requirements
  • Doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology, as accredited by the British Psychological Society.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council as a Clinical or Counselling Psychologist.
  • At least 18 months of post-qualification experience in specialist clinical psychology, with a minimum of 50 hours of clinical supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
