We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Subject Leader of Religious Studies to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of our Religious Studies curriculum, ensuring that it is engaging, relevant, and meets the needs of all students. They will also be responsible for managing and deploying teaching staff, financial and physical resources, and implementing school policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of leadership and management, with experience of leading teams and developing curriculum. They will be a passionate advocate for Religious Studies and have a deep understanding of the subject and its place in the curriculum. They will also be an excellent communicator and have the ability to work effectively with colleagues, students, and parents.

Main Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of this role will be:
- To lead the development of the Religious Studies curriculum, ensuring that it is engaging, relevant, and meets the needs of all students.
- To manage and deploy teaching staff, financial and physical resources, and implement school policies and procedures.
- To work closely with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching and learning strategies.
- To monitor and evaluate student progress and achievement, and to use this data to inform curriculum development and teaching practice.
- To contribute to the development of the academy's overall vision and strategy, and to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve our goals.
