The Role:

As Head of Residential Property, you will lead and develop a rapidly growing department in a modern and forward-thinking law firm with a strong regional presence. You will work closely with colleagues from various areas of law, helping to shape the future of the firm through strategic input and leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and driving the success of the Residential Property team.
• Delivering expert legal advice in areas such as equity release, help to buy, transfers of equity, unregistered land, leaseholds, freeholds, and new builds.
• Contributing to the firm's growth through business development, client retention, and relationship-building with local agents.
• Ensuring team profitability and providing innovative ideas to enhance department performance.
• Mentoring, training, and developing team members.

The Candidate:

We are seeking a highly regarded individual with at least 5 years PQE and a strong reputation in the marketplace. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Residential Property law and be an ambassador for the firm, with the ability to attract new clients and retain existing ones. A following of clients would be highly advantageous.

You should have experience in:

• Equity release
• Help to buy
• Transfers of equity
• Unregistered land
• Leaseholds and freeholds
• New builds
