Exceptional Opportunity for a Residential Property Expert

CV-Library is delighted to present an outstanding opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join our thriving Legal 500 firm as the Head of Residential Property. This role offers the potential to become a key member of our firm's leadership team, with the possibility of a future board position.

The Role:

As Head of Residential Property, you will lead and develop a rapidly growing department in a modern and forward-thinking law firm with a strong regional presence. You will work closely with colleagues from various areas of law, helping to shape the future of the firm through strategic input and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and drive the success of the Residential Property team.
  2. Deliver expert legal advice in areas such as equity release, help to buy, transfers of equity, unregistered land, leaseholds, freeholds, and new builds.
  3. Contribute to the firm's growth through business development, client retention, and relationship-building with local agents.
  4. Ensure team profitability and provide innovative ideas to enhance department performance.
  5. Mentor, train, and develop team members.

The Ideal Candidate:

We are seeking a highly regarded individual with at least 5 years PQE and a strong reputation in the marketplace. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Residential Property law and be an ambassador for the firm, with the ability to attract new clients and retain existing ones. A following of clients would be highly advantageous.

You should have experience in:

  1. Equity release
  2. Help to buy
  3. Transfers of equity
  4. Unregistered land
  5. Leaseholds and freeholds
  6. New builds
