Job Title: Educational Support Specialist

Location: Liverpool, North West

Salary: £90 - 110 per day

We are seeking a skilled and experienced educational support specialist to join our team in Liverpool. As a teaching assistant with Team-Teach training, you will be responsible for supporting students on a one-to-one basis with curriculum support as well as in small groups with class-based activities.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 6 months' experience working in an educational establishment and will have knowledge of working with pupils with challenging behaviour. A calm, patient, and caring persona is essential, along with a good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teaching assistant to support students in Key stages 3 and 4 who display challenging behaviour and have a variety of SEND including EBD and SEMH.

In this role, you will work under the direction of a class teacher, providing ongoing support and guidance to meet the needs of your students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to deliver curriculum objectives
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress
  • Support students with challenging behaviour
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months' experience in an educational setting
  • Team-Teach training or equivalent
  • Knowledge of SEND policies and procedures
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Calm and patient approach
