Position Overview:
We're seeking an Asphalt Plant Operator to become a key part of our team at Shap. Reporting to the Quarry Manager, this role is essential to our operations, focusing on batching asphalt, performing general maintenance, and ensuring the smooth operation of our asphalt plant in line with our safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Batch asphalt and conduct general maintenance of the asphalt plant.
- Operate a loading shovel and weighbridge, adhering to safety and operational procedures.
- Assist with the overall day-to-day operations of the site, promoting our safety culture.
- Operate systems according to established procedures.
- Previous experience within an asphalt plant is highly beneficial.
- A positive attitude towards health and safety.
- Flexibility and adaptability in your work approach.
- Ability to remain composed under pressure.
