About the Role

The Production Manager will be responsible for leading a team of shop floor staff at Trostan Dene, ensuring the manufacture of quality products within specification while adhering to Health and Safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee production to meet deadlines in the most cost-effective manner.
  2. Collaborate with colleagues in Quality, Finance, Sales, and Customer Services.
  3. Support Machine Setters to efficiently handle breakdowns and repairs.
  4. Assist colleagues with customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
  5. Maintain awareness of relevant improvements in manufacturing processes.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable career experience and achievements at the Production Supervisor/Production Manager level. A positive and engaging communicator, they will effectively lead and develop team members, with a good understanding of effective production processes and a continuous improvement approach.
