- Culinary Operations
- Develop and implement strategic production plans for effective and efficient product delivery.
- Improve menu quality and consistency by analyzing food production records and menu expenses.
- Collaborate with other teams to improve menu offerings and increase customer satisfaction.
- Compliance and Quality
- Ensure overall culinary compliance and standardization within regional flight kitchens.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications.
- Train employees on general culinary terminology, cooking techniques, and procedures.
- Financial Management
- Meet culinary financial objectives by estimating requirements, anticipating, and evaluating responses to menu and cycle changes.
- Monitor and control labor requirements, food costs, overtime, and productivity.
- Recruitment and Development
- Recruit and onboard new chefs and culinary members into our unit kitchen operations.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.
- Education and Experience
- Qualification as a Chef by trade.
- Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree in the Culinary Arts or a related field.
- Significant previous experience as an Executive Chef required.
- Skills and Knowledge
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales, prioritizing as appropriate.
