Role Overview: As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in the growth and development of children with autism. You will provide one-on-one support to children with autism, focusing on those with non-verbal or limited verbal abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our skilled team to create personalized learning plans that cater to each child's unique needs.
  • Utilize communication tools such as PECS and Makaton, particularly with non-verbal or limited verbal children.
  • Provide patient and empathetic support to children with SEN.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with autism (ASD), whether through paid positions or personal involvement.
  • A background in utilizing communication tools such as PECS and Makaton, particularly with non-verbal or limited verbal children.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of children with SEN.
