Your Role

As a Volunteer Peer Support Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Facilitating peer support groups, developing engaging session plans, and encouraging interactive participation.
  • Providing emotional support, guidance, and encouragement to participants, helping them build confidence and self-esteem.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop new initiatives, enhancing service delivery and participant outcomes.

Requirements

  • A good understanding of mental health principles, theories, and practices, preferably with relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • A calm, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach, with a passion for supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £22,000 per annum, plus benefits, including pension scheme, life insurance, and paid annual leave.
