Ripon Farm Services Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trade and Export Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase sales of used equipment to trade and export channels.
Key Responsibilities:- Sales and Marketing: Sell used equipment to trade and export channels, identifying and utilizing all available channels to successfully market used equipment.
- Industry Knowledge: Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the local and worldwide used equipment industry, engaging in trade and export markets to stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments.
- Logistics and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all import and export requirements, working with internal teams to fulfill requirements and manage the logistics of trade and export.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory turns and aged stock to promote and sell used equipment in a timely manner, working with the Used Equipment Manager to develop and execute a sales and marketing plan.
- Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, working with the sales and marketing teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Experience: Proven experience in exporting equipment, ideally with a recognized qualification in export of used equipment.
- Sales Experience: Proven sales experience in selling to businesses and traders, or experience in an agricultural sales role.
- Communication and Negotiation Skills: Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Leadership and Management Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and inspire others.
- Computer Literacy: High degree of computer literacy, with proficiency in MS Office programs and ability to use internal systems.
