Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and physically fit Warehouse Operative to join our team at People Solutions Group Limited. As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, working closely with our management team to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and dispatch goods as required, adhering to warehouse targets and ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  • Load and unload customer goods safely and securely, maintaining high levels of housekeeping standards.
  • Pick goods from stock for our store customers, meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and handling items weighing up to 25kg.
  • Count and manage stock, ensuring accurate inventory levels and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, both internally and externally, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Perform other relevant duties as directed by management to ensure the effective performance of the warehouse operation.
Requirements:
  • Must have own transport due to the location of the site.
  • Punctuality and good time-keeping skills are essential.
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is required.
  • Must be able to speak and read English to a certain level to follow instructions and ensure safety on site.
  • Flexibility and ability to work overtime as and when required.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Physical fitness is essential, as the role involves lifting and carrying items weighing up to 25kg.
  • Pass a Drug & Alcohol Test and a basic English & Numeracy Test.
  • Hold the Right to Work in the UK and be able to prove this.
