Our client, a renowned manufacturing company, is seeking a skilled and motivated Production Technician to support the Shift Supervisor in Beccles. This role is crucial in ensuring all tasks are performed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform QC checks on machines as required
Conduct detailed visual and functional inspections
Maintain accurate documentation of all production checks
Report machine faults and stoppages to the supervisor promptly
Follow procedures for tool and color changes, ensuring safe machine operation
Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized
Clear machines of previous waste before starting new production runs
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have proven technical experience, such as a background as a Motor Mechanic or similar, and strong competence in an engineering environment. A degree or equivalent qualification and experience with setting machines and tooling would be advantageous.
