Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at our Southampton, NY site. As a Registered Nurse at Sunriver Health, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interviews and Documents Patient Information

Conduct thorough interviews with patients to gather health history, including current complaints and past/present medication use. Accurately document patient charts, ensuring timely and proper recording of vital signs, reactions to tests, and other pertinent information.

Maintains Patient Medical Records

Ensure the accuracy and completeness of patient medical records, including nursing observations, vital signs, and reactions to tests.

Assists Physicians and Prepares Equipment

Prepare and assist physicians during treatments and examinations, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient care experience.

Initiates Follow-up and Instructs Patients

Initiate follow-up as necessary, providing patients with clear instructions on healthcare issues, as indicated by physician diagnosis or patient inquiry.

Triage and Assess Patients

Assess and triage patients as they present, either by telephone or in person, ensuring timely and effective care.

Stays Current with Nursing Procedures

Attend mandated training and stay up-to-date on all nursing procedures, including relevant protocols and best practices.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Licensure and Certification

New York State License as RN and BLS/CPR Certification required.
