Event Management Role

Novax Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Event Manager to lead on the development and implementation of events in St Helens. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, project management, and contract management of event-related activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead on all aspects of event development and implementation, including plans, projects, policies, systems, processes, and programmes.
  • Manage contracts and financial aspects of events, including procurement and income generation.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including key partners, community organisations, and support services.
  • Complete event documentation, including risk assessments and event management plans.
  • Undertake project management cycle, from initial scoping to project initiation, delivery, evaluation, and lessons learnt.

Requirements:
  • Experience of organising events, ideally in the council/public sector.
  • Ability to work with community and voluntary groups.
  • Organisational skills, including exhibition and public participation management.
