ID Medical is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist with expertise in elderly care to join our team at Swallownest Court Hospital, Sheffield.
Salary Information
We are offering a competitive salary of £**85,000 - £110,000 per annum**, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric assessment and treatment for elderly patients. This includes:
- Conducting thorough assessments to diagnose mental health conditions
- Developing and implementing effective treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
- Participating in clinical meetings and case discussions to ensure comprehensive care
The ideal candidate should have:
- Valid GMC registration
- Experience in old age psychiatry, preferably in a hospital setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and patients
