We're seeking an exceptional candidate to join our team as a Youth Recruitment and Community Manager. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in leading, managing, and driving the recruitment and enrolment of post-16 students and young people across all Sports Connect programmes in Kent.

This role offers the perfect blend of challenge and opportunity. You will have the chance to work closely with our Head of Operations, Inclusion Team, and Marketing Team to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies that meet our organisation's goals. Your expertise will help us ensure a professional approach to our programmes and drive student enrolment numbers.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies that meet our organisation's goals.
  2. Lead, manage, and drive the recruitment and enrolment of post-16 students and young people across all Sports Connect programmes in Kent.
  3. Collaborate with the Marketing Team to support the design and implementation of impactful marketing strategies to boost student and young people admissions to our programmes.
  4. Monitor the provision of a customer-focused service to applicants and enquirers, ensuring prompt processing of applications and enquiries, meeting agreed turnaround times, and maintaining an efficient operation at all times.
  5. Manage the production of systems and processes to support recruitment, admissions, and progression processes for all students and young people.
  6. Oversee the admissions and attendance process, ensuring compliance with GDPR and legal standards.
  7. Support the team in creating engaging content and promoting key promotion and admissions events such as 'football trials', 'open evenings', 'site visits', etc.
  8. Drive submission of education and community applications.
  9. Ensure that the target number of students are successfully recruited across all education sites in Kent.
  10. Perform any other duties outlined by line manager, senior lead team, and board of directors.

  • A Sports Connect DBS will be carried out if offered the role.

Requirements:

We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual who has:

* At least 1 year experience of being in an education setting.

* Up-to-date safeguarding.

* First Aid qualification.

* Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills.

* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

* High level of discretion and confidentiality.

* Ability to travel to multiple venues.

* Full UK driver's licence.

Salary: £31,800 per annum. The salary range is between £30,000 and £32,600 per year. Benefits include free parking and on-site parking. Schedule: Monday to Friday. Work Location: In-person.
