Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our growing Control Systems team at StreetDrone, Inc. As a Senior Control Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing advanced technology for autonomy-focused control systems that we install across a range of vehicle platforms, with a focus on logistics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Design and Development of Advanced Control Systems

Lead the design and development of advanced control systems for autonomous vehicles, including perception, planning, and control algorithms. Utilize your expertise in control theory and autonomous vehicle technologies to create innovative solutions that ensure the safe and efficient operation of our autonomous systems.

Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, perception engineers, and hardware engineers, to integrate control systems into the overall autonomous vehicle architecture. Foster strong relationships with team members to ensure seamless communication and effective project execution.

Conduct In-Depth Analysis and Modeling

Conduct in-depth analysis and modeling of control systems using simulation tools and real-world testing to validate system performance and optimize algorithms. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in control systems and autonomous vehicle technologies to enhance existing systems and propose innovative solutions.

Work with System Architects and Project Managers

Work closely with system architects and project managers to define project requirements, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring the successful execution of control system projects. Provide technical input to enhance system performance, maintainability, and scalability, with a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Troubleshoot and Resolve Complex Technical Issues

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to control systems in autonomous vehicles, providing support during system integration, testing, and deployment. Utilize your expertise to identify and resolve issues efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Robotics, or a Related Field

Possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Robotics, or a related field. A strong foundation in control theory, autonomous vehicle technologies, and software development is essential for success in this role.

2-4 Years of Experience in Control Systems

Have 2-4 years of experience in the design, development, and implementation of control systems, preferably for autonomous vehicles. A strong understanding of perception, planning, and control algorithms is required for this position.

Proven Ability to Work in Agile Environments

Proven ability to work in agile, fast-paced environments and adapt to changing project requirements and priorities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.
