About the Role:

We are seeking a Casual Family Support Worker to join our team at HMP Dartmoor. As a member of the PACT Family team, you will work primarily in the prison's visitor centre and visits hall, providing support, advice, and guidance to people visiting prisoners, facilitating prison visits and family days, and supporting the play service.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have experience and understanding of working with families in a challenging environment, ideally involving offenders and/or their families. You will also have excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a demanding workload. You will have the ability to contribute to planning and development of PACT's family work and have knowledge of safeguarding/child protection practice. Furthermore, you will have excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work in building partnerships with a range of agencies.
