Job Title: Community Liaison Manager

Join MVV Environment Limited, a leading waste management and energy generation company, as a Community Liaison Manager. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to develop and implement stakeholder engagement activities, ensuring effective communication with local communities.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Community Liaison Manager to take on a key role in our Medworth Energy from Waste CHP Facility project in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing stakeholder engagement activities, including supporting the Communications and Community Relations Manager to establish a local liaison committee.
  • Preparing and distributing proactive communications materials, including maintaining up-to-date information on MVV's website.
  • Working closely with other teams and process areas to ensure local initiatives and undertakings are delivered.
  • Raising awareness of and improving attitudes to the waste hierarchy and responsible waste management.
About You:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual with a degree-level education and significant experience of local community work and/or organizations. You should have a good understanding of local, national, and global sustainability issues/agendas, as well as a flexible attitude to managing change and the evolving needs of the role. Strong networking skills and the ability to take the initiative and demonstrate leadership qualities are essential.
