Domestic Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Domestic Supervisor to join our team at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Domestic Services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and patient safety across our hospitals.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the cleaning team to ensure that all areas of the hospital are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures to meet the needs of our patients and staff.
- Monitor and report on cleaning performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Provide training and guidance to cleaning staff on cleaning procedures, equipment, and chemicals.
- Ensure that all cleaning staff are aware of and comply with infection control and health and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that cleaning services are aligned with their needs and priorities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with cleaning staff, providing support and guidance to ensure their success in their roles.
- Contribute to the development of cleaning policies and procedures, ensuring that they are aligned with Trust policies and procedures.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a cleaning or healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and chemicals.
- Understanding of infection control and health and safety procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic data inputting skills.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
