Controlling Trainee Professional

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Controlling Trainee to contribute to the success of our Controlling Department at STATESIDE FOODS.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing accurate and timely information to the business to enable operational and strategic planning, and to analyse performance to improve profitability.
The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and numerical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Material settlement (reporting, chairing & investigation of variances including material projects)
- Producing customer margin trackers (reporting & investigation of performance)
- Providing accurate costings (incl. cost mitigation work) to the business as and when required
- Setting up material masters in SAP for new products
- Monthly costing runs on SAP
- Ensuring material variances are up to date in SAP
- Post launch reviews as and when required
- Financial viability of promotional capacity requests
- Promotional analysis to be kept up to date
- Weekly labour analysis
- SAP v MERC (daily uploads & monthly reporting)
- Customer fixed cost report
- Maintain all Operational Dashboards weekly & monthly
- Maintain Sales Dashboards monthly
- Maintain NC Pack monthly
- Maintain Maintenance Spend Pack
- Forecast 2 report
- Month end variance analysis & Reporting
- Management accounts pack preparation
- Business Plan preparation
- Profit improvement tracking & challenging of performance
- Continually looking at ways to improve the processes/ procedures of the Controlling department
- Building effective cross-departmental relationships
The successful candidate will have effective analytical and numerical skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ideally, candidates will have demonstrable experience of SAP and Excel. Applicants should be A level qualified in related field as well as part qualified AAT/CIMA/ACCA.
